Every other day life throws a new grief at you. It throws at you a new experience, a new situation, new words, people and what not. And as a healthy part of this oh so unhealthy society, you are expected to deal with it. To deal with it like it is normal.
And what is the standard definition of normal? ‘It happens to everyone’?
Well if it happens to everyone then why and how does it become mandatory for me to deal with it like every other person? I could learn by example and accommodate myself into the feeling I feel but why would I just get over it and get on with my life?
If I was born to live and I have the right to the pursuit of happiness, then what happened to grief? I may not pursue it but it is there. Quite often than I’d like it, staring me in the face. And I believe since I am faced with it in this life it is unarguably a part of life that I must live, isn’t it?
